Most orders for properties located outside the City of Los Angeles will be completed and delivered within 2 to 5 business days, however we can not guarantee the exact time of delivery. A: Please reference our Coverage Area page for this information.

Q: How do I receive the finished report?
A: You will receive an email notification from our system letting you know when your report is ready to be viewed (please check your junk mail box for this email). The email will contain a link to your report. This link will be good for 30 days. In addition, you can log into your account using your email address and password and click on Your Reports to view all of your current and past reports.

Q: How do I cancel an order that has already been placed?
A: In order to cancel your Permit Report, your report must not yet have been completed and uploaded to our system, and it must been less than 48 hours from the time you ordered your report. Please make sure to include the subject property address in this email.

Q: Is a Permit Report required for the close or escrow/selling of property?
A: As is it not required to order a Permit Report to close escrow, it is required that the seller and agent disclose to the buyer everything on the subject property that has been built to code and has been legally permitted.

Q: What happens when escrow cancels and a report has been ordered for that subject property?
A: We will attempt to collect payment from the ordering party. We realize that not all escrows will close, however we are aware that sellers benefit most from The Permit Report. And that in most cases the Seller's will continue to sell their home on the open market even after an escrow has failed to close.

Q: What if no Permits are found in your Permit Search?
A: There is no charge if no records are found for a property located within the city of Los Angeles. There is a $10 charge for properties located outside of the city of Los Angeles, including Los Angeles County.

Q: Are rush orders available?
A: Yes, we deliver orders for properties located in the City of Los Angeles that are submitted before 10:00am that very same day for an additional $40 fee.
